Senior Software Engineer

Core responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end web applications using Microsoft technologies, integrating browser-based applications with existing services
• Work closely with customers and co-workers globally to understand business requirements and implement new solutions
• Build, develop, mentor, and coach a team of developers technically, owning code quality, unit test coverage, and technical documentation
• Advocate for FURPS (Functionality, Usability, Reliability, Performance, and Supportability) to ensure quality deliverables

This role contributes to Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing, the largest network of bio/pharmaceutical GMP product testing laboratories, by developing next-generation applications like the Eurofins Quality Management System (eQMS) that enable comprehensive laboratory services for pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and medical device companies worldwide.

Required skills and experience:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in software engineering
• Deep expertise in designing and working with n-tier architectures and strong object-oriented design skills with ability to apply design patterns
• Experience building web applications using .NET, .NET Core (5/6/7), C#, Asp.net Core, Asp/Net MVC, WebAPI, Angular 7 or above
• Good working knowledge of Cosmos DB, Elastic Search, Azure Functions, Azure Monitor, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Event-Driven architectures, Domain Driven Architecture, Microservices
• Experience in UI testing and Unit Testing (MS Test/ Jasmine/ MOQ/ NUnit/ Karma etc.) and working knowledge of Authentication and Authorization
• Should have worked in an AGILE practice methodology (preferably SCRUM)
