Senior Software Engineer

• Develop and maintain the Energy Management platform, including a robust suite of micro-services
• Design industry-leading standards and solutions to scale ChargePoint to support real-time communication with millions of charging stations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Embedded Platform, Quality, Support, Operations) to execute initiatives and build better solutions
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, development processes, and champion organizational principles

This role helps create an all-electric future by developing real-time Energy Management solutions that optimize EV charging efficiency, supporting the transition to electric mobility and reducing carbon emissions.

• 4+ years of experience building back-end software
• Hands-on experience with JVM languages (Java/Kotlin), Spring Boot, Kafka, and Kubernetes
• Experience with modern software architecture components (Distributed Systems, Containerization, Micro Services, Observability)
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors, with strong CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, complexity analysis)
