Senior Software Engineer - Care AI

• Build scalable infrastructure and APIs to integrate AI capabilities (LLMs, ML models) into Back Market's customer care systems
• Implement AI agent actions, MCP server connections, and data pipelines enabling the Care AI Agent to serve customers 24/7
• Develop robust monitoring, evaluation, and safety guardrails for AI features handling sensitive customer interactions
• Collaborate with data scientists to productionize ML models and optimize performance at scale

This role creates positive change by developing AI-driven solutions that improve customer care experiences, enabling faster and more precise resolutions for customers in need of help, while supporting Back Market's mission to reduce environmental impact through refurbished tech.

• Strong backend engineering skills with keen interest in AI/ML technologies and willingness to learn about LLM integration patterns
• Passionate about leveraging AI to improve customer experiences and eager to work at the intersection of engineering and data science
• English must be a no-brainer as you will join an international team dispatched in different locations around the world (US/FR/ES/JP)
• Familiarity with machine learning and statistical concepts (bonus)
