Mission

What you will drive

  • Collaborating with product managers, project managers, and data scientists to develop Google cloud-based tools for generating and storing historic and forecast electric power consumption data and exposing it via APIs.
  • Diving into difficult problems facing the US electric grid by ingesting, organizing, and exposing massive data sets, and running mathy algorithms against these data sets.
  • Working in our Google Cloud-based tech stack, which includes Python, Django, Ray, Postgresql, and Kubernetes.
  • Providing technical leadership in architecting, maintaining, testing, monitoring APIs and related code for organizing data.

What makes you a great fit

  • 5+ years of experience with cloud-based back end application development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.

The compensation for this opportunity includes a base salary range of $120,000 - $160,000, plus equity (stock options). This is a fully remote role which can be located anywhere within the United States.
