Senior Security Engineer, Security Operations

Core responsibilities:

• Lead security and fraud monitoring, detection, and response activities, including investigations and threat hunting
• Design, build, and operate the monitoring, detection, and response platform, including tool selection and integration
• Play a leading role in incident response definition, refinement, and execution
• Support embedded product security team with monitoring and detection solutions for products and services

This role safeguards information assets and builds security systems that enable sustainable solutions financing, supporting GoodLeap's mission to make sustainable home improvements more accessible while also supporting life-saving water and clean electricity systems through their nonprofit GivePower.

Required skills and experience:

• Expertise in security event management, monitoring, threat hunting, incident response, and playbook creation
• Experience with EDR solutions/platforms like CrowdStrike, S1, or Palo Alto Cortex EDR
• Experience with AWS services including KMS, CloudTrail, IAM, and Lambda
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform
