Senior Security Engineer / Analyst, Detection and Response

• Lead day-to-day security threat management and identify/manage potential incidents
• Support threat intelligence, threat hunting, intrusion detection, and incident response efforts
• Drive continual improvement in processes, procedures, and automations to enhance team effectiveness
• Research and analyze security event patterns across global infrastructure and lead threat hunting missions

This role helps protect AI systems that aim to accurately understand the universe and aid humanity in its pursuit of knowledge by ensuring security and threat management.

• 2+ years of relevant information security experience
• Strong Python scripting skills for implementing security automation
• Knowledge of networking, operating systems (macOS, Windows, Linux), and cloud security fundamentals
• Experience with security technology management/deployment, building security monitoring queries/dashboards, and malware analysis/forensics/penetration testing
