Mission
What you will drive
- Provide technical project management and leadership for research projects, ensuring successful outcomes
- Lead the development of observationally driven AI models for sea ice forecasting systems for Arctic and Antarctic resilience
- Take the lead on writing up findings, producing reports, and developing publications in peer reviewed journals
- Lead on the preparation of proposals and applications to external bodies for funding and contractual purposes

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- PhD (or equivalent experience/qualifications) in machine learning, AI, computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, or environmental science
- Experience in machine learning and deep learning
- Programming skills with proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Experience working with geospatial data, remote sensing, or reanalysis datasets
