Senior Research Assistant (Domestic)

• Support CEPR's domestic team in analyzing economic and labor market trends using large individual-level datasets and statistical programming tools.
• Collect and analyze data from print and electronic sources, and prepare charts, tables, literature reviews, and summaries for research projects.
• Help design and execute research projects by describing data sources, datasets, and research results, and drafting technical reports.

This role contributes to CEPR's mission of promoting democratic debate on economic and social issues by providing rigorous research that informs policy choices and challenges economic inequality.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in economics, sociology, statistics, or related field.
• Experience writing programs using statistical software such as Stata or R.
• Strong knowledge of statistics and basic econometric techniques.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Competitive salary and excellent benefits package. Minimum starting salary of $67,404 annually (union contract), actual salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
