Senior Proposal Lead and Writer (Proposal Specialist IV)

Core responsibilities:

• Lead large, complex, priority must-win pursuits from capture through to interview stage for DoD and Federal Civilian proposals
• Create detailed annotated outlines, write first-draft content, compliance lists, and capture/proposal schedules
• Lead writing of proposal sections including cover letters, executive summaries, past performance, management approaches, and resumes/staffing sections
• Facilitate color reviews, participate in Go/No-Go analyses, and drive compliance with delegation of authority guidelines

This role supports AECOM's work on critical infrastructure, environmental, and engineering projects for government clients, contributing to public sector initiatives that serve communities and national interests.

Required qualifications:

• Experience with US Federal proposal writing and strong compliance focus
• Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a team of proposal staff
• Expertise in pre-positioning, capture strategies, and proposal development processes
• Experience with DoD and Federal Civilian proposal teams and subject matter including studies, planning, architecture, engineering, construction, environmental, and program management
