Senior Project Engineer (Secondary engineering)

• Lead and deliver design for protection and control systems and associated auxiliary systems at Transmission and Distribution levels
• Design, check, and approve P&C schemes in accordance with established standards such as ISO 9001, TPs, NGTs, ESIs, BS, IEC Standards, etc.
• Provide technical support and Work Breakdown Structures for tendering
• Enable effective project delivery by assisting with preparation of Design Intent Documents, Tech Specs for Plant and P&C equipment, Schematic Diagrams, LVAC & battery sizing, cable sizing & settings, Approving WDs, cable schedules, core sheets, etc.

This role contributes to the design and implementation of protection and control systems for transmission and distribution networks, supporting reliable energy infrastructure.

• Minimum qualification of HNC/HND in the related engineering field and 5 years of applicable experience or minimum of 9 years' experience in lieu of HNC/HND
• Proven knowledge of Transmission or Distribution practices (400kV to 11 kV)
• Good teamwork, analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and in high pressured environments
• Working knowledge of Windows and MS Office, Autocad
• Electricity supply industry experience
• Understanding/Knowledge of Distribution Network Operator/National Grid etc. standards and drawing practices
