Senior Project Engineer, ES

The primary objective of the Senior Systems Engineer role is to provide technical expertise during the design and execution phase of energy storage projects to support our IPP customers.

• Serve as a key technical expert in the integration of energy storage products into project designs, ensuring compliance with ISO, NERC, NFPA, and other relevant standards.
• Review engineering deliverables from multiple disciplines, and respond to RFIs and submittals.
• Assess and mitigate project risks related to design, certification, testing, systems integration, and commissioning.
• Lead and coordinate commissioning activities between various stakeholders for both utility-scale and DG-scale projects.

This role supports the integration of energy storage products into diverse projects, contributing to the advancement of renewable energy infrastructure and sustainable energy solutions.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of related experience in energy storage product design and integration, utility-scale energy storage facility design, construction, and commissioning.
• 7+ years of related experience in power systems design, construction, commissioning, and field support.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (UL, NEC, NFPA, IEEE etc.).
