Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Program Officer to join our team. The Senior Program Officer will provide technical leadership and support to the Malaria Modeling and Quantitative Science team, with a focus on malaria elimination and control. The successful candidate will have a strong background in malaria modeling, quantitative science, and program management, with experience working in low- and middle-income countries.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and support to the Malaria Modeling and Quantitative Science team, with a focus on malaria elimination and control.
- Develop and implement malaria modeling and quantitative science strategies to support malaria elimination and control efforts.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and prioritize malaria modeling and quantitative science needs.
- Develop and manage budgets, work plans, and project timelines to ensure successful project implementation.
- Provide technical assistance and support to country programs and partners to strengthen malaria modeling and quantitative science capacity.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest malaria modeling and quantitative science research and best practices, and apply this knowledge to inform program strategies and decisions.
- Represent the organization at international meetings and conferences, and engage with external stakeholders to promote the organization's work and build partnerships.
About the Role
