Senior Program Associate (Talent)

Core responsibilities:

• Lead implementation of programs connecting candidates with opportunities at scale, including opportunity notifications, mentor network management, and talent referral programs
• Provide hands-on support for key programs like the AI Policy & Leadership Network and headhunts for critical open roles
• Track relationships and impact by maintaining talent databases, CRM systems, and analyzing program effectiveness data
• Support career advising work by evaluating incoming requests and identifying top candidates for further support

This role amplifies impact across Horizon's programs by supporting hundreds of emerging tech experts to launch and advance in policy careers each year, helping address the critical shortage of expertise in government technology policy.

• Communicate professionally in writing with diverse stakeholders
• Thrive when juggling multiple projects that require context-switching
• Conscientious with strong attention to detail
• Navigate digital platforms (Airtable, Notion, Slack, etc.) confidently and leverage AI tools
• Demonstrated interest in public policy or emerging technology issues
• Entrepreneurial team player adaptable to changing responsibilities
• Growth-minded with ability to give and receive regular feedback

Salary: $90,000-$110,000+ based on experience and seniority
