Senior Product Manager

• Develop and execute a product roadmap for Uplight’s Predictive Controls, in line with product vision and strategy.
• Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and identify new opportunities.
• Work closely with engineers and data-scientists to design, build, and launch new products and features.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, implementation, and operations teams to drive customer adoption and successful delivery.

This role directly contributes to decarbonization by enabling utilities to manage distributed energy resources (DERs) as virtual power plants, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and accelerating the transition to clean energy.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive experience as a product manager, management consultant, or equivalent, shipping great products for a leading consumer, SaaS, or enterprise software company.
• Domain and industry knowledge: familiarity with demand response, Grid and Edge DERMS systems, market participation concepts, and overall understanding of the US utility industry.
• Familiarity with optimization and data science problems; knowledge of the DER ecosystem (devices, OEMs, capabilities, use cases); ability to understand technical design concepts, APIs, and DB querying.
