Senior Product Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Develop and articulate a clear product strategy for client and admin facing tools and products
• Collaborate closely with engineering and design to shape strategy & roadmap, prioritize valuable problems, and launch MVPs
• Lead iterative product & design thinking to continuously measure, learn, and enhance user experience in utility-facing products
• Build a deep and data-driven understanding of customer needs, pain points, and behaviors across programs

This role directly impacts Uplight's mission of decarbonization and building a more sustainable future by creating software that manages energy resources to balance the grid, making it more efficient and reliable while accelerating the transition to clean energy.

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years experience leading product teams to understand highest value pain points, market opportunities, and delivering on them
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with ability to articulate narratives to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience leading horizontal, multi-team efforts around shared business goals, embedding discovery throughout the process
• Experience building enterprise software (B2B and/or B2C)
