Mission

What you will drive

  • Define and drive the end-to-end product strategy for high resolution imagery, aligning with company priorities and customer needs
  • Evolve product requirements for Planet's newly released Pelican mission and strategically make product decisions to ensure a smooth transition to Pelican from SkySat
  • Partner with image processing, quality, and engineering teams to improve imagery quality and delivery pipelines
  • Analyze usage patterns and customer feedback to drive iteration on how we serve specific customer use cases and Planet solutions

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 6+ years of product management experience, ideally in Earth Observation, geospatial, or related technical domains
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Excellent understanding of satellite imagery, remote sensing, or large-scale data products
  • Experience balancing technical trade-offs and customer needs in complex product ecosystems
  • Ability to align diverse stakeholders around strategy, priorities, and execution
