What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Assess energy storage technologies and site layout options to deliver maximum project value while minimizing execution and operating risks
  • Analyze, assess, and present project technical risks and determine de-risking solutions
  • Develop project capital and operational cost estimates and milestone schedules for project financial valuation models
  • Provide technical and project management support throughout the development cycle, including site visits, interfacing with consultants, and supporting meetings with local authorities
  • Support offtake, equipment procurement, and engineering/construction contracting activities to move projects toward Notice to Proceed (NTP)

What makes you a great fit

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline required
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in technical roles
  • Experience in Power, Energy, Renewables, or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with industry terminology knowledge
  • Knowledge of energy storage development value proposition and technical fundamentals
  • Experience with technical-commercial contract negotiations for offtake, equipment supply, engineering, and construction agreements
  • Experience reviewing engineering drawings and specifications
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to travel domestically approximately 25% of the time
