Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Perform high-level bulk power system studies using various power system software such as PSS/e, PSCAD, Aspen, and TARA
  • Lead and mentor electrical engineers in performing power system steady state, short circuit, and dynamic & transient stability analyses
  • Conduct advanced and specialized studies of the power grid, such as Sub-synchronous Resonance studies
  • Develop mitigation plans for identified constraints and system issues and review/develop transmission planning study methodologies

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • 5+ years professional experience as a Power Systems Engineer
  • Experience performing power system impact studies such as Dynamic Stability, Load Flow, Steady State, Short Circuit
  • Experience with power systems software such as PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, and TARA
  • Experience automating/programming in Python
