Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Develop and conduct computer modeling and analysis for transmission planning studies including steady state, short circuit, and dynamic stability analysis
- Perform power system impact studies, NERC-compliance-related technical analyses, and full generator interconnection studies
- Ensure renewable and/or storage resource projects interconnecting to the transmission system meet Voltage Ride-Through requirements
- Prepare technical study reports, process and maintain data, and take responsibility for timely project completion while meeting quality and budget objectives

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years professional experience as a Power Systems Engineer
- Experience performing power system impact studies such as Dynamic Stability, Load Flow, Steady State, Short Circuit
- Experience with power systems software such as PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, and TARA
- Experience automating/programming in Python
- Proven team player skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
