Senior Policy Officer/Assistant Manager – Grid Planning (Climate Resilience)

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on emerging grid technologies, flexibility solutions, and climate-resilient power systems
• Assess climate change impacts on electricity generation, demand, and grid infrastructure, providing insights for long-term planning and investment frameworks
• Document lessons learned, best practices, and case studies relevant to resilient grid infrastructure in the Indian context
• Contribute to high-quality written outputs including policy briefs, technical reports, and peer reviewed journal articles

This role creates positive change by supporting climate-resilient grid policies and infrastructure through data-driven analysis, helping to enhance grid flexibility, resilience, and reliability in the face of climate change impacts.

• Postgraduate degree in Engineering with specialisation in Energy, Power Systems, Electrical networks, Renewable Energy or related field
• 3–6 years of experience in transmission and distribution networks, grid planning, grid flexibility, power system operations, and digital grid solutions
• Proficiency in probabilistic risk assessments, power system modelling tools, programming languages such as Python and MATLAB
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills with experience presenting technical work and writing briefs, blogs, articles and research papers
