Senior Policy, Communications, and Training Manager - J-PAL Southeast Asia

Core responsibilities:

• Build and manage partnerships with donor organizations, international organizations, foundations, bilateral and multilateral aid agencies, and other organizations interested in supporting J-PAL SEA's missions to ensure that policy is informed by evidence
• Represent J-PAL SEA in high-level forums, conferences, workshops, and meetings to present sector-specific knowledge accumulated by J-PAL
• Coordinate technical assistance for policymakers in government and civil society to promote evidence adoption and replication of rigorously evaluated programs
• Assist Executive Director in setting up Objective and Key Results (OKRs) for Policy, Communication and Training vertical and ensure OKRs are met by PCT staff

This role creates positive change by promoting evidence-based policy through partnership development, policy outreach, and capacity building efforts, translating high-quality academic research into action on the ground to address development challenges in Southeast Asia.

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree with strong academic record in economics, public policy, development, or a related field
• Five years or more of relevant experience in policy and program design, project management, team management, and preferably partnership development
• Attention to detail and advanced writing and presentation skills in English and Indonesian, with ability to communicate results in a visually attractive manner
• Strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with people management and time management skills
