Senior Policy, Communications, and Training Manager - J-PAL Southeast Asia

Core responsibilities:

• Build and manage partnerships with donor organizations, international organizations, foundations, bilateral and multilateral aid agencies, and other organizations interested in supporting J-PAL SEA's missions to ensure that policy is informed by evidence
• Represent J-PAL SEA in high-level forums, conferences, workshops, and meetings to present sector-specific knowledge accumulated by J-PAL
• Coordinate technical assistance for policymakers in government and civil society to promote evidence adoption and replication of rigorously evaluated programs
• Assist the Executive Director in setting up Objective and Key Results (OKRs) for the Policy, Communication and Training vertical and ensure they are met by PCT staff

This role creates positive change by promoting evidence-based policy in Southeast Asia through translating high-quality academic research into actionable policies and building capacity among policymakers and organizations to use rigorous evidence in decision-making.

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree with strong academic record in economics, public policy, development, or a related field
• Five years or more of relevant experience in policy and program design, project management, team management, and preferably partnership development
• Attention to detail and advanced writing and presentation skills in English and Indonesian, with ability to communicate results in a visually attractive manner
• Strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with ability to supervise staff and manage projects independently
