Senior Policy and Regulatory Lead - Europe

• Monitor and analyze policy, legislative, and regulatory developments across the region relevant to the business.
• Design and maintain a centralized, structured, and searchable database of key policy documents, regulatory filings, and legislative timelines.
• Produce high-quality policy briefs, impact assessments, and strategic recommendations to support Communications and Government Relations.
• Engage early with stakeholders on potential policy and regulatory changes affecting Hitachi Energy businesses.

This role contributes to shaping the future of clean energy by providing strategic insights that support policy engagement and business decisions in the energy sector.

• Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, Energy, Public Policy, Political Science, or related field with 10-15 years of relevant sector experience.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in policy analysis, regulatory affairs, or government relations, in the power sector.
• Deep understanding of the region and associated policy and regulatory frameworks and processes.
• Strong writing, research, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into actionable insights.
