Mission

What you will drive

  • Develop and lead implementation of a comprehensive philanthropic strategy to grow unrestricted revenue.
  • Cultivate and steward a personal portfolio of major and principal gift donors, focusing on gifts of $10,000 and above.
  • Design and implement a corporate giving program, expanding relationships with Washington-based businesses.
  • Manage and professionally develop the Development Manager, and collaborate with the President and Board on fundraising strategy.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in nonprofit development, with at least 3 years in a fundraising leadership role.
  • Proven track record of personally soliciting and closing five- and six-figure unrestricted gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporations in Washington state.
  • Experience creating and executing multi-year development plans balancing diverse revenue streams (Individual, Corporate, Foundation).
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills; highly self-directed and entrepreneurial; proficiency with donor database systems.
