Senior Organizer

Core responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and support student leaders to organize on their campuses; lead Class Action's career funneling strategy and co-develop high-impact campaign goals
• Forge partnerships with faculty, administrators, funders, and allies to bolster campus-level and national campaigns; help coordinate annual conference; represent Class Action at public events
• Use social, video, and written media to shift norms; support students in storytelling efforts
• Support up to 10 student-led campus-specific campaigns; create organizing resources; host virtual and in-person student gatherings

This role creates positive change by exposing how elite universities narrow students' horizons, elevating student voices demanding change, and pushing for concrete reforms that dismantle corporate pipelines and expand pathways to public-interest work, ultimately holding elite colleges accountable to their public missions.

Required qualifications:

• Experience working with students/young adults
• Strong communicator (public speaking, writing, social media)
• Skilled project manager, able to handle multiple initiatives
• Prepared to set ambitious goals and take on end-to-end ownership of established priorities
• Adaptable team player able to support shared responsibilities in a dynamic startup environment
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Alignment with mission & understanding of higher ed equity
• Comfortable with occasional travel/flexible schedule

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 commensurate with experience
