Senior Operations Officer for PED

Core responsibilities:

• Coordinate and track progress across all key projects and OKRs in the Product, Engineering, and Design department
• Manage the operational rhythm including team meetings, reports, and follow-ups
• Serve as the main point of coordination for cross-departmental initiatives within PED
• Identify, document, and improve internal processes to enhance delivery and collaboration
• Support with internal communications, reporting, and preparation of briefs or summaries
• Maintain and update systems for tracking project plans, team goals, and staff allocation
• Manage operational admin such as expense tracking, scheduling, and travel logistics
• Support onboarding initiatives in partnership with the People and Culture Team

This role strengthens the operational backbone of the Product, Engineering & Design department, ensuring teams can operate with clarity, focus, and momentum to transform strategy into execution, ultimately supporting Avaaz's mission to address pressing global challenges through digital campaigning.

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary varies with location and experience, and is highly competitive with leading international non-profit organisations
• The full-package salary for this position ranges from USD 92,151-97,305
• 5 weeks paid vacation per year
• 10 paid holidays per year
