Senior NERC & Operations Compliance Manager - Battery Storage

• Serve as the primary compliance subject matter expert for NERC standards, providing interpretive guidance to internal teams and developing training materials.
• Implement and continuously improve Plus Power's compliance program, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify, assess, and prioritize compliance risks, and design effective controls in the company's highest risk areas.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to respond to regulators' requests, audits, and investigations, and develop mitigation plans for potential violations.

This role enables the transition from a carbon-based grid to a renewable energy grid by ensuring compliance for large-scale energy storage, which balances supply and demand and enables high penetration of variable renewable generation like solar and wind.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 7+ years' experience in implementing and/or maintaining a NERC compliance program.
• Experience as a NERC registered Generator Owner or Generator Operator strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and drive strategic compliance initiatives.
