Senior Manager, Systems Design

• Lead and manage the system design team to deliver high-quality, safe communication-based train control systems for projects, bids, and products.
• Oversee system design, signaling design, analysis, modeling, and simulation to meet customer requirements and ensure compliance with product technical requirements.
• Drive strategic decision-making, resource planning, and cross-functional coordination to achieve quality, budget, and schedule targets.

This role enables safe, efficient, and sustainable urban rail transportation by leading the design of advanced train control systems, reducing emissions and improving mobility in cities.

• 10-20 years of experience in development of software-based system applications, with a technical background in system engineering and safety-critical systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Systems, Electrical, Computer), Computer Science, or closely related field.
• Minimum 2 years of expertise in Urban Rail Signaling (URS) Systems or equivalent industry; minimum 5 years managing technical resources.
• Strong planning, organizational, communication, and leadership skills; experience with DOORS, Polarion, or similar requirements management tools.

Compensation Range: $185,000 - $210,000 (CAD).
