Senior Manager - Strategic Partnerships

• Own the partnership pipeline and coordinate the development of high-quality funding opportunities from prospect identification through proposal submission and award.
• Develop and edit compelling funder-facing narratives that translate technical ideas and organizational strategy into clear propositions.
• Manage the partnership and proposal pipeline system, providing regular reporting, analysis, and forecasting for leadership.
• Monitor and synthesize developments across philanthropy, climate resilience, urban development, and related ecosystems to inform strategic decisions.

This role directly supports the Resilient Cities Network's mission to help cities withstand, adapt, and thrive amid 21st-century challenges by securing funding and partnerships that enable climate resilience, equity, public health, and sustainability programs across over 100 cities globally.

• At least five years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, fundraising, resource mobilization, or program development.
• Experience coordinating multi-contributor funding submissions (proposals, concept notes, expressions of interest) through to submission and deadline.
• Direct experience working with philanthropic, institutional, corporate, or multilateral funders.
• Experience writing or editing funder-facing materials in English, and using a CRM or comparable partnership and pipeline management system.
