Senior Manager, Software Engineering

• Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team building distributed, cloud-native services.
• Drive software architecture and development practices across multiple projects and services.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Design, QA, and cross-functional teams to define priorities and deliver high-impact features.
• Ensure that the architecture and design of solutions align with long-term business and technical goals.

This role helps build the EV charging industry and infrastructure that enables the transition to electric mobility, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and contributing to a cleaner environment.

• 12+ years of experience in cloud software development.
• 3+ years managing and scaling software engineering teams with multiple deliverables.
• Proven success in building scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture and infrastructure (preferably AWS/GCP).
• Experience with technologies such as Java, Golang, PHP, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenSearch.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including design patterns and system architecture principles.
• A positive attitude toward AI adoption and a strong interest in exploring how AI can accelerate development and improve quality at scale within the software development lifecycle.
• Experience effectively managing contractors alongside internal engineering teams, including onboarding, performance tracking, and deliverable oversight.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
