Mission
What you will drive
- Serve as the internal expert on ASC 606 and interpret complex contracts to determine proper accounting treatment
- Research, draft, and maintain technical accounting memos for complex, non-routine revenue transactions
- Manage Planet's revenue accounting in North America and APJC, including month/quarter/year-end close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
- Act as primary liaison for all internal and external audit activities pertaining to revenue recognition and related controls

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 6+ years of revenue accounting experience at both public and private companies
- 4+ years of supervisory and/or leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other quantitative major
- Excellent understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 principles in SaaS or software-focused industry
- Experience with Netsuite and Salesforce
- Expertise in Excel

- Salary ranges: New York City + California: $136,000-$170,000 USD; San Francisco: $144,500-$180,600 USD; US National: $127,000-$158,700 USD
