Senior Manager, Policy

• Develop and advocate for policies that support clean distributed generation to address the latest challenges in the electricity sector
• Represent Bloom Energy in front of ranking state and local policymakers across multiple markets
• Proactively search for and/or advocate for policy initiatives that represent new business opportunities
• Manage regulatory processes including monitoring regulatory developments, defining policy strategy, and drafting and submitting public comments

This role creates positive change by advocating for policies that support clean distributed generation and communicating the economic, environmental, and social benefits of non-combustion technologies, energy resiliency, and renewable fuels like biogas and hydrogen.

• Experience in energy and/or utility policy
• Exceptional writing, communication and presentation skills under time pressure; ability to portray complex concepts to diverse audiences
• 8+ years professional experience
• Understanding of regulatory processes in relevant jurisdictions
• Familiarity with clean energy issues including distributed generation, microgrids, utilities, alternative fuels, etc.
