Senior Manager – Partnerships & Alliance

Core responsibilities:

• Network and liaison with representatives from national, state and local Government departments
• Develop and implement national and state positioning agenda, ensuring required permissions and support from government departments for ongoing projects
• Develop strategies for project implementation in intervention states, budget monitoring, and coordination with donors and stakeholders
• Plan and oversee projects to ensure timely completion within allocated budget, including resource designation and stakeholder communication

This role creates positive change by developing partnerships and strategies that advance Breakthrough's mission of shifting social norms to empower women and girls, ensuring high-quality program delivery that reaches adolescents and young people to build a more equal world.

Required skills and experience:

• At least 10 to 12 years of experience in similar field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hindi and English (additional languages appreciated)
• Good understanding and experience of budget development and management
• Strong networking skills with government departments and civil society organizations
• High proficiency with MS Office Excel, PowerPoint, and internet skills
• Sound understanding of gender and education
• Ability to write clear and concise reports and proposals and meet reporting deadlines
