Senior Manager of Special Events

Core responsibilities:

• Design and implement an annual events plan and calendar that advances fundraising, growth, and impact goals
• Lead creative event concept development and oversee all logistical aspects including vendor management, budgets, and on-site execution
• Coordinate event fundraising efforts including corporate sponsorships, ticket sales, auctions, and donations
• Develop SOPs for event execution and build workflows for future event team members

This role creates positive change by designing and executing events that raise funds and awareness for immigrant and refugee professionals, helping them transition from poverty or exclusion to quality, thriving-wage careers while influencing substantive cultural shifts in the workforce.

Required skills and experience:

• 8+ years of relevant leadership experience producing successful high-profile fundraising events, galas, and/or luxury activations
• Strong interpersonal and project management skills with ability to handle multiple stakeholders and priorities
• Exceptional communication skills including writing, editing, and correspondence
• Bachelor's degree preferred, experience with Salesforce/CRM and event management software preferred
