Senior Manager, Member Communities & Committee Engagement

• Serve as staff lead to key member communities focused on diversity and inclusion, including the Inclusion & Diversity Committee, Women’s Initiative Committee, LGBTQ+ Subcommittee, and the Patient Advisory Group (PAG).
• Manage activities for these communities at major meetings (TLM and DDW), coordinating with Education and Meetings Teams on sessions and networking events.
• Serve as Staff Liaison to diversity and inclusion committees, scheduling and facilitating meetings, developing board reports, and ensuring timely follow-up on action items.
• Manage AASLD’s committee framework to enhance effectiveness and transparency, including creating resources for committee performance evaluation and leadership development, and organizing engagement activities for Committee/SIG leaders.

This role directly strengthens member communities and volunteer engagement within a leading liver disease organization, fostering diversity, inclusion, and patient involvement to advance the mission of preventing and curing liver disease.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in volunteer or program management or similar role.
• Familiarity with diversity and inclusion and patient engagement issues is desirable.
• Strong organizational, project management, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Salary range: $81,600 - $122,400. Remote position with occasional travel. Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
