What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 100-125 high-net-worth individuals and family offices, prioritizing principal gifts of mid-six and seven figures
  • Execute tailored cultivation and solicitation strategies with senior leadership to generate at least $5M in philanthropic revenue annually
  • Align prospects' philanthropic goals with RMI's high-impact priorities for the clean energy transition
  • Represent RMI in meetings and events, traveling regularly to identify, cultivate, and deepen relationships with funders

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of experience in non-profit development, with a proven record of successfully soliciting gifts of $100K or more
  • Demonstrated success in building, cultivating, and soliciting a pipeline of both new and repeat donors
  • Experience in the environment, climate, energy, or related fields required
  • Proven experience with legacy and planned giving strongly preferred

  • Salary range: $115,000-$142,000 with annual bonus target of 10% and eligibility for merit-based increases
