Senior Manager, Data Systems, Regions and Partnerships

Core responsibilities:

• Lead global partnerships and coalition-building for Data System development, rollout, and uptake across GCoM and C40 cities
• Manage day-to-day relationships with Data System development partners and act as primary technical liaison to translate user requirements
• Execute Data System rollout strategy and coordinate regional engagement activities with GCoM Regional/National Covenants and C40 regional teams
• Facilitate dialogue through a coalition at the nexus of artificial intelligence (AI) and city climate action, managing relationships to drive practical implementation

This role creates positive change by supporting the global delivery and adoption of an AI-driven Data System that helps cities combat climate change, accelerating the energy transition and generating locally-tailored solutions for a low-carbon, resilient future.

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience in program/project management, coordinating multi-disciplinary workstreams, and managing consultants/budgets
• Strong technical literacy with ability to translate user requirements into technical specifications and manage complex data sets/visualization
• Significant experience in urban sustainability, Data System/product management, climate change, or related field, preferably in municipal/international context
• Excellent communication, partnership management, and analytical skills with international experience working across cultures and time zones
