Senior Manager, Business Development, South Eastern US

Core responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic plan and manage a healthy pipeline to achieve/surpass sales targets and expand TerraCycle's offerings
• Conduct prospect research and identify key decision-makers across target industries, performing high-volume outreach via email, phone, and conferences
• Maintain and update lead databases, qualify inbound and outbound leads, and manage both company and client expectations
• Research and evaluate potential new partners, work on pricing and contract finalization, and assess industry trends to capitalize on emerging opportunities

This role creates positive change by expanding TerraCycle's innovative sustainability solutions and recycling programs, helping divert waste from landfills and promoting circular economy practices through new business partnerships.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years experience in senior sales management position
• 5-10+ years experience in waste management industry (working with universal waste streams, e-waste, or recycling initiatives a plus)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Word)
• Experience using CRM systems (SAP a plus), strong sales drive with proven selling abilities, and exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
