Senior Manager, Analytics

Core responsibilities:

• Oversee Organization-Wide Impact Measurement: Design, implement, and continuously refine rigorous impact measurement frameworks across multiple communication and programmatic channels to assess effectiveness, support decision-making, and inform strategic direction.
• Deliver Strategic Insights: Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights and proactively communicate strategic recommendations to diverse stakeholders, including leadership, board members, funders, and cross-functional internal teams, to support mission-aligned outcomes.
• Manage High-Impact Data Projects: In close partnership with stakeholders, organize, sequence, and manage large-scale, cross-functional data and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with established goals and technical standards.
• Support Team Leadership and Vision: Act as a senior thought partner on the Data Analytics team, helping to shape team strategy, define performance goals, and promote a culture of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement.

This role transforms complex data into clear, relevant, and actionable insights that inform priorities, guide decisions, and measure outcomes, helping evolve the analytics team from a service function into a strategic partner that influences decisions and strengthens results across the organization.

Required skills and experience:

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics
• Strong project management skills with experience leading data infrastructure improvements, analytics initiatives, and strategic projects from inception to delivery
• Advanced data analysis skills with ability to work with large datasets using SQL to query, manipulate, and extract actionable insights from complex databases
• Extensive experience using BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms to create complex, interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong experience working in a cross-departmental capacity, collaborating with various teams to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization
