Core responsibilities:
- Identify policy windows and develop targeted interventions to support tangible policy change on AI safety and security
- Write and publish rigorous, timely analysis that anticipates emerging AI risks and opportunities for policymakers
- Manage and mentor staff, oversee project deadlines and deliverables, and contribute to personnel development
- Engage with policymakers, civil society, and technical AI experts to share and refine ideas through events and briefings

What makes you a great fit
Required skills and experience:
- 6+ years of experience across think tanks, government, academia, or industry
- Experience with one or more areas of AI safety and security policy (e.g., frontier AI safety, AI and CBRN weapons, cybersecurity)
- Aptitude for policy entrepreneurship and ability to identify policy windows for maximal impact
- Proven ability to craft precise, persuasive, and implementable policy proposals for technical and non-technical audiences
