Senior Lighting Designer

Core responsibilities:

• Contributing to lighting design development from concept through construction, with opportunities to grow into a project leadership role
• Performing lighting calculations, energy analysis, and photometric modeling
• Producing and coordinating lighting drawings, details, and specifications
• Developing renderings, diagrams, and presentation materials for internal and client-facing use

This role creates positive change by integrating sustainable lighting strategies into all phases of design, supporting sustainability goals including energy efficiency and daylighting, and contributing to Mazzetti's mission of bending the climate curve™ through environmentally conscious engineering solutions.

Required qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Lighting Design, or related field
• 6-12 years of experience in the lighting design industry
• Strong proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and/or other BIM platforms
• Extensive experience with photometric modeling tools such as AGI32, LightStanza, DIALux, or similar

Compensation: The typical salary range for a Lighting Designer in the Atlanta, GA area or in other locations in the Southeast U.S is $80,000-$140,000.
