Senior Legal Counsel

Core responsibilities:

• Manage CEA's legal matters across compliance, contracts, governance, and risk while acting as a strategic partner to leadership
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks across CEA's operations and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Handle contracts, employment law, intellectual property management, and data protection matters supporting all internal teams
• Develop legal templates and processes enabling teams to handle routine matters efficiently

This role creates positive change by ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation for an organization focused on effective altruism, enabling more effective allocation of resources to high-impact causes.

Required skills and qualifications:
