Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Lead desktop reviews for blast and fire hazards using authoritative sources, existing reports, and geospatial datasets to assess blast risks within site boundaries and surrounding properties.
- Identify and map properties or infrastructure presenting blast hazards (e.g., natural gas pipelines, fuel depots, petrochemical facilities) and collaborate with GIS teams for project mapping.
- Determine proximity to conventional and nuclear power stations, outlining potential emergency exclusion zones or setbacks affecting operations.
- Quantify risk by calculating impact radii, return periods for blast events, evaluating site vulnerabilities, secondary hazards, likelihood, and consequences, and performing blast risk modeling as needed.

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have a Professional Engineer license in one or more states.

- Ability to gather and analyze data to identify blast and fire hazards, quantify risks using structured matrices, and recommend mitigation measures.
