Learn more at: www.globalstrays.org Position Overview Global Strays is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Senior International Programs Manager to oversee and strengthen our international animal welfare programs. This role is responsible for managing partner relationships, ensuring program accountability, developing and maintaining strong operational systems, and supporting thoughtful expansion into new territories. This position reports to the President and plays a central role in maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of our work abroad. This is a remote contract position (up to 30 hours per week). Core Responsibilities Program Oversight & Partner Management Manage international programs in Colombia, Nicaragua, Liberia, and future regions Develop and maintain strong relationships with veterinary providers and animal welfare partners Establish and uphold Standards of Practice and Memorandums of Understanding Conduct regular partner check-ins to monitor compliance, progress, and impact Systems & Accountability Build and maintain clear systems for documentation, record keeping, and program tracking Manage partner budgets, payments, and expense documentation Track impact metrics and compile program reports, i.e. end-of-year summaries Coordination & Communication Maintain a comprehensive Programs Calendar for clinics, workshops, and events Coordinate communication between international partners and the internal Global Strays team Support the Communications team with translated materials and program updates Strategic Growth Collaborate with leadership to explore responsible program expansion Identify and cultivate new partnerships aligned with our mission Qualifications Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) required Minimum 3 years of experience managing complex projects or accounts Experience developing systems and maintaining strict record keeping Experience managing programs Experience working with international partners strongly preferred Experience in animal welfare or nonprofit international development is a plus We Are Looking For Someone Who Is: Highly organized and systems-oriented Culturally sensitive and respectful Comfortable navigating cross-cultural and socioeconomic dynamics Self-directed and reliable in a remote work environment Deeply committed to improving the lives of animals and communities To Apply Please submit: Resume Cover letter describing your interest in Global Strays and how your experience aligns with this role Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
