The Senior HR Partners team (4 persons) work closely together, delivering services and advice to the designated teams that are organized around portfolios: a combination of sectors and countries.
Our current HR-team is mainly based in Brussels. We intend to expand our HR footprint by hiring our HRP’s in our other main offices: The Hague, Paris and Berlin.
**Key responsibilities**
**For the local entity:**
•Show local presence: Be the person of contact for the local employees, establish informal contacts, keeping the pulse of the office.
**For the dedicated organisation units:**
•Advise management: Partner with leaders of the dedicated organization units on strategic (why), tactical (what) and operational (how) level to support the organizational effectiveness.
•Manage talent: Oversee recruitment and selection, onboarding, talent assessment and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent who are passionate about the organization’s cause.
•Manage individual and team development: Drive development programs to enhance employee competencies and career growth and to enhance team and organizational performance. Manage individual development requests.
•Manage performance: provide guidance on goal setting, feedback, performance levels (calibration meetings) and career development to optimize employee performance and engagement.
•Manage projects: successfully oversee and/or execute HR-related projects that align with the organization’s strategic goals to enhance the HR effectiveness and/or the overall organizational effectiveness.
•Manage change: Lead, support and/or facilitate organizational change initiatives, helping staff adapt to new processes, structures, or technologies while maintaining morale and productivity.
•Act as ambassador for our values: Promote the organizational values and diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization, ensuring that HR practices support a diverse and inclusive workplace.
•Manage Wellbeing, Health and Safety: Take / support initiatives that drive employee wellbeing (e.g. manage long term absenteeism, handle requests for reintegration, handle requests for changing working conditions, etc.)
•Ensure compliance and manage risks: Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant internal policies and external employment laws and regulations. Manage risks related to HR practices and manage employee grievances.
## Requirements
**Experience and competencies **
10+ years of experience in a People function of which at least 4 years in an HRBP function, ideally in an international environment
Experience in supporting and coaching managers, knowledgeable on leadership and people management
Strong trust building and influencing skills that enable effective collaboration
Outstanding communication skills
Fluency in English
Fast learner with a can-do attitude
Able to work autonomously towards tight deadlines and changing priorities
Impeccable work ethics
Genuine interest in climate change challenges and the ECF’s mission
Experience with Employee relations in the specific country is a plus
Candidates must be entitled to work in the country they are applying for
