Mission
What you will drive
System Configuration & Optimization
- Lead the configuration, testing, and implementation of Workday modules, specifically focusing on Advanced Compensation, Security, and Business Process Management.
- Lead the configuration of Time & Attendance with a specific focus on managing complex EMEA-regional requirements (e.g., Working Time Directives, varied holiday calendars, and overtime rules).
- Tackle complex functional problems by identifying and evaluating data, crafting innovative solutions even when information is limited.
- Proactively recommend process improvements, policy changes, or innovative solutions to meet business challenges, ensuring approval by leadership prior to implementation.
Reporting, Analytics & Compliance
- Serve as a point of contact for global data regulations, with a specific focus on GDPR and data privacy. Act as a key partner in maintaining SOX compliance, managing the required documentation, and ensuring all system controls meet rigorous audit standards.
- Write, maintain, and support a variety of complex reports and queries to support ongoing business needs.
- Maintain data integrity by establishing and performing audits, and analyzing data relationships between connected systems.
Stakeholder Consultation & Influence
- Act as a consultative partner to HRBP, Total Rewards, and Payroll teams, proactively identifying where Workday configuration can solve business pain points before they become escalations.
- Translate complex business requirements into effective Workday configurations, and conversely, translate technical Workday concepts into plain language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide high-level support for researching and resolving unexpected system results or process flaws. Develop user procedures and train stakeholders on new processes and functionality.
Project Management
- Utilize project management skills to manage specific HR initiatives, working independently from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Effectively prioritize conflicting needs from multiple stakeholders to ensure critical business deadlines are met.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Minimum 5+ years of Workday experience, with a primary focus on system configuration and optimization.
- Experience leading at least one full-cycle implementation or major optimization project in Time & Absence or Advanced Comp.
- Technical Expertise: Possess an understanding of Workday configuration, specifically in: Time & Attendance (EMEA focus preferred), Advanced Compensation, Report Writing, Security Configuration, Business Process Framework.
- Communication: Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiencesโtranslating business needs into config and technical constraints into plain language.
- Problem Solving: Strong critical thinking skills required to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and evaluate unique situations using advanced analysis.
