Senior Fullstack Engineer

Take ownership of the Bank.Green website, which is built with Vue.js, Nuxt.js, and deployed via Cloudflare, using prismic.io as a headless CMS and connecting to internal GraphQL and REST APIs.

• Understand the Vue.js lifecycle, Cloudflare deployment, and Nuxt build pipeline.
• Carefully author and review PRs.
• Mentor more junior frontend developers.

This role helps lower the carbon footprint of global banks by empowering customers with tools and insights to influence banks towards sustainable lending or switch to greener alternatives, contributing to the fight against climate change.

• Proven experience as a Fullstack Engineer, preferably in a mid to senior level capacity.
• Proficiency in JavaScript programming language.
• Familiarity with Vue.js + Nuxt or React + Next.
• Experience working with and mentoring more junior colleagues.
• Experience working asynchronously with colleagues in different time zones through tools like Slack or MS Teams.
• Experience working in Agile environments and using collaborative development tools (e.g., Linear, Jira, Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Passion for sustainability and environmental advocacy.

This role is UNPAID and VOLUNTEER-BASED, with a commitment of 5-10 hours per week for at least 6 months. It is a passion project for many volunteers, including developers and data scientists, who are often unemployed, trying to break into tech or environmental fields, or seeking to do good for the world.
