Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

• Build, enhance, and maintain core business operations platforms including Warehouse Management System, Payment Systems, ERP integrations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and internal operational tools.
• Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and reusable full stack solutions supporting real-time operational activities across multiple business units.
• Own projects from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support, while writing clean, maintainable code and promoting strong engineering practices.

By building and improving the software that powers Misfits Market's operations, you directly enable the company to reduce food waste and deliver sustainable groceries efficiently, helping save an average of 500,000 pounds of food per week from waste.

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, ideally across backend and frontend systems.
• Strong experience with PHP or another object-oriented language, and experience building modern user interfaces using React or similar frontend framework.
• Solid foundation in software engineering fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, system design, and best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), relational databases, and building/maintaining production systems supporting complex business workflows.
