Senior Financial Operations Associate

• Lead accounting and financial operations for assigned clients, including bookkeeping, budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, reporting, and audit/tax preparation.
• Supervise and mentor a team of 1-3 associates, ensuring accurate and timely financial deliverables and adherence to internal policies.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on financial operations, providing direct client communication and support to deepen trust and demonstrate value.
• Undertake special projects as needed to meet client and organizational needs.

This role directly supports progressive organizations by ensuring their financial health and operational efficiency, enabling them to focus on advancing social justice, climate action, and other critical missions.

• 7-10 years of accounting experience with full-cycle accounting processes and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and extensive experience with QuickBooks Online (ProAdvisor certification preferred).
• Experience supervising team members and managing multiple clients in a remote environment.
• Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a commitment to progressive causes.

Full-time position with a salary of $80,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on qualifications. Benefits include a monthly home office stipend, 3 weeks accrued PTO, 13 paid holidays, unlimited sick leave, parental leave (12 weeks), and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
