Senior Environmental Planner

• Manage and perform consulting projects to scope, schedule, and budget, learning and applying AECOM's project management systems and software.
• Serve as an interface with clients and regulatory personnel on complex projects and through business development initiatives.
• Coordinate, manage, and direct project field and data collection efforts.
• Prepare regulatory permit applications and perform wetland delineations and Land Use permitting.

This role contributes to environmental review and permitting for major infrastructure projects, helping ensure compliance with environmental regulations and supporting sustainable development.

• Experience overseeing and preparing Federal, State, and local environmental permit applications and NEPA/EO 215 environmental review documents for major infrastructure projects.
• Ability to serve as environmental task lead for transportation and infrastructure projects at federal, state, and county levels.
• Experience mentoring junior and mid-level staff and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and industry trends with ability to perform client visits and field activities outside the office.
