Senior Engineering Consultant

Core responsibilities:

• Performs and presents custom energy and financial analysis for customers to identify efficiency improvements
• Builds strategic relationships with customers and partners to promote installation of cost-effective efficiency improvements
• Manages customer expectations, persuades investments in energy efficiency, and contributes to engagement strategy
• Provides consulting services including site inspections, building diagnostics, and recommendations for energy use optimization

This role creates positive change by identifying and advocating for energy efficiency improvements in buildings and facilities, reducing electricity demand and energy consumption for communities while working toward a healthy planet and energy justice.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field plus minimum 5 years' experience analyzing commercial/industrial energy use
• Advanced understanding of buildings, facilities, manufacturing systems, building energy use, and energy analysis techniques
• Experience with building energy modeling tools, spreadsheet, word processing, and database software
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with ability to work in team environment
